acute-care hospital on the Porter Avenue Campus has 337
licensed beds and offers a full range of services. Moore
Medical Center has 45 licensed beds and provides general
medical and surgical needs, physical therapy,
obstetrical services, 24-hour emergency services and
close-to-home diagnostic imaging to the Moore community.
The HealthPlex campus at Interstate 35 and Tecumseh Road
is under development and already includes the HealthPlex
Professional Building. Opening July 2009 is a new
specialty hospital with 135 licensed beds that will
feature a Heart & Vascular Institute, Orthopedic & Spine
Center and Women & Children’s Pavilion.

Griffin Memorial Hospital is an adult inpatient
psychiatric teaching hospital offering comprehensive
services that include psychiatric and psychological
diagnostic evaluation; individual, group, and family
psychotherapy; chemotherapy; activities therapy;
psychiatric rehabilitation; and medical and surgical
services for mental health clients. Specialized acute
psychiatric services are available for geriatric and
developmentally disabled clients.

Disabilities

A rehabilitation hospital where Oklahoma’s children with
development disabilities learn to move, act, play, think
and communicate better and where parents find relief
from overwhelming responsibilities. Both inpatient and

Oklahoma Veterans Center, Norman Division

The Oklahoma Veterans Center provides long-term, skilled
and non-skilled nursing care to eligible Oklahoma
veterans in a state-of-the-art 301-bed long-term nursing
care center. Staff includes doctors and social workers
on every unit and physical therapists.
